Finally, got tired of dealing with Windows, and my external SSD came in the mail which meant that I could finally switch to Mint Cinnamon. Honestly, the whole thing was a lot easier than I thought it would be. The only portion that held me up (and only slightly) was getting Clip Studio to work, and Bottles made that a breeze( see the HowTo / Notes ). I'm going to mainly be using Krita going forward, since it's just a little easier to access. The only reason why I needed CSP to work was because the 3d models are helpful for tracing. A pleasant surprise was that my Star 03 tablet just worked, no need to get the old drivers, or to go through the hassle of getting the OpenTabletDriver to work (I had to use an older version on Windows, and get the correct .net, which wasn't hard per se, just annoying). Not many essential programs I use are windows specific to begin with, which contributed to the ease. The only hassle I can foresee is with some of my VNs and other non-steam games. But, we'll get to that when the time comes. I am really pleased though, the transition was really smooth and I managed to get everything in working order in only an hour or two. Damn, I should've done it sooner.
