Magnus Archive and Protocol Thoughts

Just finished The Magnus Archives and it was so much fun (still messed up over Tim dying. I listened to some of the little extras for Archives before starting Protocol, mostly looking for a bit more of Tim before moving on.)! Honestly, I was hoping for some sort of tragic death for Jon and Martin as well but an open ending is just as good because it leads to a potentially interesting plot point in Protocol. The sound design became quite immersive towards the latter half, and that trend is thankfully continuing in Protocol. The music in Protocol is equally fantastic I love that sort of deep haunting sound it goes with, contrasted with the Archives more subdued theme. Going to take this series slower because there's other stuff on the reading queue and it deserves to be savored. Honestly, this entire series deserves a complete rewatch in the far future and by that time I'll have organized my thoughts enough to actually write about it. Thoughts on the Protocol plot so far:

Love Alice, Colin's close though, in a neck in neck race for my favorite character.
The computer's TTS voices being Jon and Martin are plot relevant, yeah?
You can watch this without having watched Archives first, but I think it builds more anticipation to know what the statements are talking about even if the characters are still in the dark.
